Football: Injury time winner sinks 10-men Leek Town

BLUES were denied a point by an injury time winner netted by Bedworth new signing Jack Leys.

Leys scored in the 91st minute after Leek were reduced to 10 men when James Curley was sent off.

Curley was given his marching orders in the 80th minute after commiting a second bookable offence.

Blues also had Tom France and Tom Mullarkey yellow-carded in a bruising encounter.

Bedworth played two-thirds of the game one man down after Marlon Walters was red-carded on the half-hour.

Ten minutes after Walters was despatched for an early bath Tom Walters gave Blues the lead.

However, Leys levelled for Bedworth from the penalty spot in the 46th minute.

This defeat dropped Blues down to seven in the table and saw Bedworth climb above them into sixth.
