Leek Town face a trip to Romulus in their push for promotion

LEEK Town travel to Sutton Coldfield tomorrow (Saturday) to face Romulus in Division One South of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.

Blus boss Ant Danylyk will be urging his players to build on last weekend’s 1-0 win at Carlton Town following a recent dip in form.

A victory would help Leek, seventh in the table, force their way back into promotion contention after slipping five points adrift of the play-off places.

Blues play host to Spalding United next Tuesday (7.45pm) – the first of four successive home fixtures.

Before the game a tribute will be paid to Leek’s long-serving secretary, Brian Wain, who died recently while on holiday in Abu Dhabi. Mr Wain will be honoured with a minute’s applause.
