Crossing patrol warden role up for grabs at Biddulph Moor

ANXIOUS parents at Biddulph Moor are urging Staffordshire County Council to step up their efforts to find a new crossing warden for the village.

The warden in situ at the junction of New Street and Woodhouse Lane retired at Christmas.

The person appointed will be responsible for the safety of children walking to and from Moor First School, and also those who catch a bus to Biddulph’s Woodhouse Academy.

Applicants for the vacant post are advised they need to work 10 hours a week – between 8am and 9am, and 3.10pm and 4.10pm during term time.
