Biddulph traders warned to be on their guard against fraudsters

POLICE are warning traders in the Biddulph area to beware of two men using fake £50 notes to purchase goods.

The fraudsters, who are said to have Irish accents, have struck in and around the town this week.

Police say one of the men was wearing an NY cap and a grey t-shirt.

Anyone who has received one of the £50 notes is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101.
