A lesson in the effects of cyber crime for psychology students

PSYCHOLOGY and sociology students at Biddulph High School have learnt how Staffordshire Police are tackling an increase in cyber crime.

A talk was delivered to them by the county’s police and crime commissioner, Matthew Ellis, as part of National Cyber Crime Awareness Week.

Mr Ellis said the perpetrators of these crimes as “cowardly and faceless” who can often leave law-abiding people “financially and emotionally broken.”
