Cannabis plants worth several hundred thousand pounds seized by police

POLICE have unearthed a major cannabis farm in Leek.

A total of 284 cannabis plants, worth between £200,00o and £250,000, were discovered in former industrial premises in Sneyd Street yesterday.

The successful operation was carried out by officers from the Moorlands Neighbourhood Action Team.
