Jewellery thieves captured on CCTV at Cheddleton

THIEVES forced entry to a property in Felthouse Lane Cheddleton at lunchtime on Tuesday and stole jewellery believed to be worth nearly £7,000.

Police are studying CCTV footage which shows a silver estate car, possibly a Mitsubishi, drop one of three gang members off at the scene. He then returned to the car which was parked in the gateway of Pointon Park.

The car then moved further up Felthouse Lane and minutes later two men of slim/medium build walked to the property and committed the burglary.

Both men, one wearing all black and the other a grey top with black trousers, were picked up by the driver of the car at 12.45pm outside the entrance to Pointon Park.

Both men are about 5ft 10ins tall to 6ft tall.

Staffordshire Police are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious around 12.30pm – 12.45pm in Felthouse Lane, Cheddleton on Tuesday to contact them on 101.
