Fewer people claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance in Staffordshire Moorlands

THE number of people claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance in the Staffordshire Moorlands has fallen.

 

Claims fell from 535 in March to 515 in April according to the latest figures from the Office of National Statistics.

Employment nationally reached a new record high of 74.8 per cent in the three months to March 2017.

The number of people in work in the UK increased by 122,000 to 31.95 million during the same period.
