POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an attempted burglary at a farmhouse in the Bagnall area on Tuesday, May 23.
Two men entered the property on Bagnall Road at around 1pm.
The offenders were disturbed by police officers on patrol and fled the scene in a white transit van, which is thought to have had false number plates.
A brief police pursuit followed but the van was lost at Cellarhead.
The driver of the van is described as a white male with dark hair and stubble.
