Cheadle Running Club athletes shine in Potters Arf

CHEADLE Running Club fielded an impressive 17 members at Sunday’s Potters Arf marathon and again achieved some excellent results.
The course starts from Hanley and is supported by thousands of local people throughout the challenging route.
Stuart Day was the first club member to finish in 25th position overall in a time of 1:25:53 and was also the first MV45, with Rebecca Harrison was the first club lady in 1:34:09, taking third LV35 place.
Ruth Watchorn-Rice was first LV50 in 1:40:57, with Chris Green taking the first MV60 place in 1:34:27.
Other club members who finished were Gareth Knapper 1:29:11, Carl Astley 1:31:07, Darren Morrey 1:34:10,Glyn Pattinson 1:35:09, Craig Carpenter 1:42:56, Mark Harrison 1:43:41, Mark Stoddard 1:45:5, Russell Williams 1:49:48,  Adrian Reeves-Jones 1:52:11, Michelle Plant 1:56:33, Neil Corby 1:57:45, Sally Kenny 2:02:12, and Liz Clutton 2:08:12.
