CBeebies Land Hotel ready to open this weekend

EXCITED young families are getting ready to book into Alton Towers new CBeebies Land Hotel which officially opens this Saturday.

The 76-room has taken three years to build and has created more than 100 new jobs at the world-famous theme park in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Each room is themed on favourite children’s TV programmes ranging from Postman Pat to In the Night Garden.

The CBeebies Land Hotel is believed to be the first Makaton-friendly hotel in the UK – a language programme that uses signs and symbols to support the spoken word.

A spokesman for Merlin Magic Making said: “Every part of a child’s journey links back to the story they choose before they stay. Most of these characters children will have only seen in 2D.

“We wanted to create a hotel where the child is always the hero and transport everyone to a wondrous world.”
