BLITZ Music, a popular DJ music and band production, owned by Werrington-based Anthony Grain, will be touring Europe later this year.
Anthony, pictured left, will take his decks to play specialist 80s music at two venues on three nights in Tallinn, Estonia.
The venues are: The Depeche Mode (DM) Baarand and Kohvik Sinilind, November 10-12.
Eighties music is far more popular in eastern Europe and the audiences will be in their thousands: one show has ex-Visage and Duran Duran band members supporting Blitz Music.
Anthony, who has just returned from a gig in London, has also been approached by venue owners in Latvia to stage shows.
He told Lasar Radio: “Times are very exciting for Blitz Music. After last years visit to Estonia, they wanted me back and I gladly accepted, although slightly on my terms.
“I got my foot in the door then and now I want to expand, so the possibility for a trip to Latvia is something I’m very interested in.
“I’ve just returned from a London after performing in front of famous people. Again the opportunity is there to go back again and show off Blitz Music, its show and get people back on the dance floor”.
You don’t have to go to Europe to enjoy the Blitz experience, there is ‘Blitz Music Presents Love & Dancing A Night of Synth, New Wave, New Romantics and Alternative 80’s dance classics.’ at The Sutherland Venue/Bidds, in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. On Stage: 9pm -2am.
