Man suffers slash wounds in incident at Biddulph

POLICE responded to reports of an assault at the Uplands in Biddulph yesterday afternoon (August 17).

A 38-year-old man from Abbey Hulton was found to have slash wounds to his arm and went to hospital for treatment.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “He has since been discharged and will be providing a statement in the morning.

“A 40-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent has been arrested in relation to the incident and is helping us with our enquiries.”
