Blues next step along the FA Cup trail takes them into Leicestershire

HAVING beaten Cammell Laird 1907 on Saturday, Leek now face a trip to Leicestershire to face Shepshed Dynamo in the next round of the Emirates FA Cup.

Dynamo play in the Premier Division of the Midland League and won 3-0 against Kimberley Miners Welfare in the preliminary round at the weekend

Shepshed have won all three of their opening games of the new season.

The first qualifying round tie will be played at the Dovecote Stadium on Saturday, September 2 and the winners will collect £3,000 from the FA prize fund.

Leek  get an early feel of Leicestershire this Saturday, when they travel into the county take on Loughborough Dynamo in Division One South of the Evo-stik Northern Premier League.

Blues make a quick return to league action on Bank Holiday Monday when they welcome Market Drayton Town to Harrison Park (3pm).
