Blues seek to cut down The Tulips at Harrison Park

LEEK Town will be seeking a bloomin’ good result against The Tulips from Spalding at Harrison Park today (3pm).

The visitors from the bulb territory of Lincolnshire are seeking a third consecutive win, while Blues enter the game smarting from a 4-3 upset at Stocksbridge Park Steels in the week.

Leek were leading 3-2 with 10 minutes to go only for defensive frailties to let them down.

However, Blues boss Neil Baker (pictured) said he was pleased with his side’s overall performance.

It’s frustrating when you go away from home, score three goals and lose, but we are working hard to put that right. We are certainly moving in the right direction,” he said.
