Leek Town face old rivals Kidsgrove Athletic at Harrison Park

LEEK Town play host to old rivals Kidsgrove Athletic in the Evo-stik Northern Premier League tonight (7.45pm).

Clashes between these two teams tend to be fiesty affairs and tonight’s confrontation at Harrison Park is unlikely to be any different.

Leek stand eighth in the Division One South table after Saturday’s goalless draw at home to Spalding United, while Kidsgrove make a return to league action following their exit from the FA Cup away to Kettering Town.

New signings Mike Calveley, a highly rated teenage midfielder on loan from Port Vale, and Dan Trickett-Smith, the former Crewe Alexandra and Liverpool attacking midfielder, could make the Leek starting line-up after being introduced as substitutes against Spalding on Saturday.
