Leek Town come a Cropper at home to old rivals Kidsgrove Athletic

BLUES were sunk by a solitary goal from one of a number of their ex-players appearing in the Kidsgrove line-up.

Lee Cropper, on as a second-half substitute for Jon Beaumont, slid the ball over the line from a Tom France corner kick in the 72nd minute for the deciding goal against the old rivals.

Kidsgrove were deserved winners as the hungrier of the two sides, though Blues were unlucky not to gone ahead in the first half when Jordan Johnson struck the foot of the post.

Leek goalkeeper Ben Chapman received the man of the match trophy from sponsors Rail Trail.
