Two women arrested in Cheadle on suspicion of drugs offences

TWO women are being held in police custody for suspected drugs offences following the execution of a search warrant at a house in Cheadle. 

Officers from Staffordshire Moorlands Local Policing Team entered a property in Cheltenham Avenue, yesterday morning (Nov 9).
The two women, both aged 40 and from Cheadle, were arrested for possession with intent to supply class A drugs. One was also arrested for possession of class A drugs.

A quantity of heroin was recovered by officers.
Inspector Mark Thorley, of Staffordshire Moorlands Local Policing Team, said: “We’re committed to taking positive action and welcome any information the public can provide to assist us.”
