Police investigate unexplained death in the early hours

POLICE are appealing for help in solving an unexplained death in the Potteries in the early hours of today.

The ambulance service was called to an address in Wellesley Street, Hanley, at 3.46am, where it was reported a 47 year old man had suffered a cardiac arrest.

Sadly, the man was pronounced dead upon the ambulance’s arrival.

A number of people are helping the police with their enquiries.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We ask that if you witnessed anything in the area or have information relating to this incident please contact 101 quoting incident number 119 of November 19.
