A GROWING Biddulph veterinary practice is ready to expand further after acquiring bigger premises in the town.
Blue House have been given the green light to move into the vacant former health centre in Princesss Street after outgrowing their surgery on Congleton Road.
The building was offered up for sale at £400,000 after it became vacant on becoming surplus to the requirements of the NHS.
It followed the opening Biddulph’s new £10 million primary care centre, on the Wharf Road car park, which opened in 2013.
District councillors backed the planning application after receiving only one objection.
The planning officers report submitted to members stated: “The development will see the part reinstatement of the community health centre, with the addition of the veterinary centre.”
