LEEK CSOB’s away fixture to Ashbourne FC in the Staffordshire County Senior Premier Division  last night was postponed.

Ashbourne ground share with Midland League Premier Division club Rocester FC and the Hillsfield pitch was waterlogged.

The other Premier Division clash between Hanley Town and Redgate Clayton also fell victim to the weather.

However, Leek CSOB reserves beat both the weather and visitors Foley Meir reserves in Division One, claiming all three points from a 4-1 scoreline.

Leek CSOB’s postponed League Challenge Cup semi-final against Premier Division leaders Wolstanton United has been re-scheduled for next Wednesday.

The winners of the tie at Pointon Park (7.30pm) will face last year’s beaten finalists Cheadle Town in the final.

Cheadle won their semi-final away to Redgate Clayton 4-0 with Mitchell Finney helping himself to a hat-trick.
