QUIZ fans at a popular Leek hostelry are preparing themselves for a challenge in support of PubAid 2018.
The Roebuck, on Derby Street, is set to take part in the World’s Biggest Pub Quiz next month.
The pub’s owners, North Staffordshire-based Titanic Brewery, have entered all seven of their managed hostelries in the money-raiser for charity.
Pubs across Britain last year raised more than £100 milliion for charity. Titanic pubs donated more than £3,500 to Prostate Cancer UK.
The pub quiz will be staged between March 4 and March 8.
The otherTitanic pubs involved in the quiz challenge are the Bulls Head, Burslem; The Greyhound, Hartshill; The White Star, Stoke; The Royal Exchange, Stone; The Sun, Stafford; and The Cheshire Cheese, Buxton.
