Motorcylist dies after being involved in a collision with a tractor

A 69 year old motorcyclist has died after being involved in a collision with a tractor on a country road in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

The Regional Collision Investigation Unit have launched an enquiry following the fatal collision at Camrose Hill, near its junction with Top Road, Biddulph Moor, yesterday afternoon (April 6) at around 4.30pm.

The incident involved involving a Massey Ferguson tractor and a Kawasaki motorcycle. 

The motorcyclist, from Stoke-on-Trent, died from his injuries at the scene. The tractor driver, a 36-year-old man from the North Staffordshire area, was uninjured.

Specialist officers carried out a detailed investigation and would like to thank the public for their patience while the road remained closed for more than four fours..
