Busy bobbies thanked for responding to record calls

IT proved to be an exceptionally busy recent bank holiday weekend for Staffordshire Police.

The force received more than 3,633 emergency calls and 6,312 contacts with 101.

Assistant Chief Constable Nick Adderley wrote on Twitter: “This is a record volume of calls over such a short period. Many thanks to al our staff in contact services for their hard work, and to those who serviced the calls.”
