Stranded rural bus passengers could get back their lost service

BUS passengers left standing by cuts in a rural part of the Staffordshire Moorlands are being offered a lifeline.

Aimee’s Travel are considering a introducing new service linking Leek and Cheadle via the villages of Kingsley Holt and Froghall.

The original route 30 service was axed after Staffordshire County Council’s slashed bus subsidies by £1.4 million.

The introduction of a service rests on feedback on likely passenger numbers.
