Staffordshire cricketers have something to prove at West Bromwich

STAFFORDSHIRE have something to prove after their disappointing start to the 2018 county cricket season.

The county have made an early exit from the 50-over competition, at the hands of Shropshire, and have also failed to progress from the group stage of the Twenty20 Cup.

They turn their attention to the three-day Unicorns Championship tomorrow (June 24), which begins with a visit from Suffolk at the West Bromwich and Dartmouth ground in the Eastern Division..

Leek seamer Dan Richardson and Ashombe Park spinner Anis Raza are in the 12-man squad where Staffordshire skipper Kadeer Ali will lead out the team at his home club ground..
