STOKE City have completed the signing of James McClean from West Bromwich Albion.
The 29-year-old Republic of Ireland international becomes the Potters fourth arrival of the summer.
Stoke have paid an initial £5million for the 29-year-old for the winger, although the fee could rise to £6million with add-ons.
McClean joins Stoke on a four-year contract and follows Peter Etebo, Benik Afobe and Adam Federici into the bet365 Stadium.
Stoke manager Gary Rowett said: “James is a player I’ve admired for a long time. He has real quality with his left foot and he’s an old fashioned winger in so much that he retains width and gives teams balance.
The Potters have lost both their back-to-back friendly games in Germany: Meppen 0-1 and Hamburg 1-2.
The club has sold all tickets for their opening Championship game away to Leeds United on Sunday, August 5.
The first batch of 1,487 tickets were snapped up within 24 hours of going on sale and a second batch of 1,o34 went equally as quickly five days later.
