Chorley next in the Emirates FA Cup if Blues win at Parkgate

LEEK Town face a difficult trip to Chorley in the second qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup if they beat Parkgate in south Yorkshire on Wednesday night.

The Magpies are flying high unbeaten at the top of National League North with eight wins and a draw to their credit.

Chorley maintained their fine form with 5-0 victory away to Ashton United in the league on Saturday.

Blues will be boosted by the return of Matt Bailey and Niall Maguire for the trip to Rotherham-based Parkgate, but Niall Green is still suspended and Joe Kearns is unavailable due to illness.

Wednesday’s winners will pocket £6,000 from the FA prize fund, which increases to £9,000 for the winners of the Chorley tie at Victory Park on Saturday, September 22.
