TYRESE Campbell lit up Harrison Park with a hat-trick for Stoke City U23’s in their 3-2 defeat of Peterborough United in the opening round of the Premier League Cup last night.
The 18-year-old striker, pictured, netted his first goal from the outfield in the 32nd minute, before adding two more goals from the penalty spot at the Leek ground.
Stoke paid Manchester City paid £750,000 (with add-ons) for Campbell in August 2016. He is the son of Kevin Campbell, the former Arsenal, Everton, Nottingham Forest and West Bromwich Albion star.
The Potters U23s return to Harrison Park next Monday (Oct 22) to take on Norwich City U23s in Premier League Two, kick off 7pm.
