Wednesday night football: Leek CSOB player taken to hospital

LEEK CSOB battled out a 3-3 draw with Shenstone Pathfinder to move within two points of Division Two leaders Audley in the Staffordshire County Senior League.

The match was marred by a serious leg injury suffered by Dan Hyde (pictured), who has returned to the field of play following a successful spell as CSOB first team manager.

Hyde was treated by paramedics before being taken by ambulance to the Royal Stoke University Hospital for further assessment.
