Leek CSOB ‘s Dan Hyde faces a lengthy recovery from serious injury

LEEK CSOB have been dealt a serious blow with the expected loss of reserve team midfield star Dan Hyde for the remainder of the season.

Hyde (pictured) was stretchered off with a serious leg injury incurred during last night’s 3-3 draw at home to Shenstone Pathfinder in Division One of the Staffordshire County Senior League.

The club’s former successful first team manager and before that team captain in the North West Counties League, only recently took up playing again to add experience to Old Boys young second team.

Hyde was taken by ambulance to the Royal Stoke University Hospital where he was found to have dislocated knee and also suffered major ligament damage.
