Police make more arrests after trouble broke out at Potteries football match

A FURTHER 10 arrests have been made in connection with the disorder at Port Vale v Stoke City football match in December.

Officers from Staffordshire Police have arrested nine men and one boy following information received from the public.

A 25-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent and a 56-year-old man from Uttoxeter were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and remain in custody.

A 34-year-old man, a 36-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, all from Stoke-on-Trent, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

A 23-year-old man, a 30-year-old man, a 29-year-old man, an 18-year-old man and a 29-year-old man, all from Newcastle, were also arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

They have been bailed whilst enquiries continue.
