Blues out of the play-off places after their three successive defeats

LEEK Town face a fight to get back into the play-off places in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League West Division table after their three successive defeats.

Blues were pushed out of the top five into sixth place by Ramsbottom United who won 2-1 away to Clitheroe on Saturday.

Neil Baker’s team now find themselves three points adrift of Ramsbottom and Mossley, both on 54 points, in fourth and fifth spots respectively.

League leaders Atherton Collieries 2-1 defeat of Blues on Monday night leaves them favourites to take the automatic promotion place.

Blues are away to eighth-placed Prescot Cables this Saturday.
