An army of volunteers are keeping Cheddleton clean and tidy

KEEP Britain Tidy’s Great Britain Spring Clean campaign launched this month has won the wholehearted support of Cheddleton residents.
Villagers have been holding monthly litter picks since the start of the year to keep the streets clean and tidy.
Pride in Cheddleton litter-pick organiser Ian Dalkin said: “Cheddleton is a fantastic village but, as everywhere, there’s a minority, as well as some passing through, who don’t put their rubbish in the bins provided ot rtake it home with the.
“Our group exists to help keep our streets and green spaces pleasant for everyone.”
