LEEK Town are anticipating a big crowd for their crucial Easter Monday clash with Chasetown in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League at Harrison Park (kick off 3pm).
A victory would secure Blues place in the West Division play-offs. Leek’s 1-0 victory at Clitheroe on Saturday was bosted by disappointing results for their play-off rivals, Runcorn Linnets and Colne
Runcorn were held to a goalless draw at Trafford and Colne were beaten 3-2 away to Widnes, opening the door for Neil Baker’s team to move up into third spot behind Atherton Colleries and Radcliffe FC.
Blues were held to a 1-1 draw at Chasetown on Boxing Day, so they can’t afford to take their return clash lightly.
Chasetown, however, have lost their last two games, 2-1 away to Market Drayton Town and 4-1 at home to Prescot Cables.
Blues final league game of the season is at Colwyn Bay on Saturday.
