Volunteer police car washer cops a surprise goodie bag for his efforts

A TEENAGER who regularly helps Staffordshire Police by cleaning police vehicles is getting all washed up thanks to a donation from a local company.

Sean Murton has a fascination with police cars and signed up as a volunteer car washer in Burslem in recent weeks.

The 16-year-old was presented with a goodie bag of car cleaning products from Autobrite in Stoke-on-Trent worth over £100.

Police Constable Paul Seddon, based in Burslem, said: “Sean has been working at Burslem for a few weeks now after expressing an interest in the police. He now washes our cars and has become a popular member of the team at Stoke North neighbourhood policing team.

“Sean does a fantastic job and we’re so grateful to have him. The products from Autobrite are a testament to his hard work.”
