Leek Town face a tiring marathon journey into Cambridgeshire on opening day of the season

Blues new signing Harry Goode.

THE new look BetVictor Northern Premuier League kicks of this weekend with Leek Town facing one of the longest journeys of their 2019-20 campaign.
It’s 250-mile round trip to Wisbech Town in Cambridgeshire
The Fenmen play at the Fenland Stadium, PE14 7AL and finished in 17th position in Division One East last season with 31 points.
Blues boss Neil Baker has added a further two new players to his squad in Joshua Agbozo and Harry Goode.
Goode played for Leek in both the Buxton and Nantwich friendlies at right back and did well. He was previously an academy scholar at Derby County and joins Blues from Chasetown FC.
Agbozo trained and played for Leek against Nantwich and was also very impressive. He is a previous member of the Liverpool Youth Academy and has also played for Shrewsbury Town U18s.
The team bus leaves Harrison Park at 10am sharp with limited spaces available available for the near four-hour journey.
Blues then return to action at home to North Staffordshire rivas Kidsgrove Athetic next Tuesday night (7.45pm).
Supporters are advised to arrive early for this crowd-puller in order to avoid congestion at the turnstiles.
The match sponsors are Diamond Freight.
