Good response to manager vacancy at Rocester after Andy O’Connor resigns

Andy O’Connor has quit as Rocester FC manager.

ROCESTER FC have had a good response to their advertised vacancy for a new first team manager.
So much so that the club has set a deadline of this Friday (Aug 23) for any further appications.
Andy O’Connor quit the manager’s post last Thursday for what he described as “personal reasons”.
The Romans have endured a miserable start to their 2019-20 campaign, losing all four opening Division One fixtures in the Total Motion Midland League.
O’Connor’s assistant James Billings was in charge for Saturday’s game at Ashby Ivanoe, which the Romans lost 2-0.
A club spokesman said: “We would like to place on record our thanks to Andy for the fantastic job he did and wish him well for the future.”
Applications for the position of manage should be made to club secretary Sam Goldsworthy at: [email protected]
