Van driver killed in collision with crop sprayer

A YOUNG van driver has lost his life in a collision with an agricultural vehicle in Staffordshire.
The 21year-old, who has not been named, was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash involving a crop sprayer in the Lichfield area.
The incident happened in Shenstone, at the junction of the A5 and Streetway Road, at around 11.30 yesterday morning.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: ““The van driver, a man, was found to have suffered multiple serious injuries in the collision.
“Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
