Oakamoor are crowned champions after a top-of-the-table thriller in the Potteries

OAKAMOOR snatched victory from the jaws of defeat to be crowned Division Three champions after a thrilling top-of-the-table clash with Meakins 2nds in Hanley.
The title appeared to be slipping from Oakamoor’s grasp after they lost three wickets with the scoreboard stuck on 147, when they required just seven more runs to land the big prize.
But tail-enders Sean Sutton (11 not out) and Matt Wolff (1 not out) emerged from the debris t to trigger a night of celebration down in the Churnet Valley.
