Police name Leek woman who died after collision on B&Q DIY store car park

POLICE have named the Leek woman who died after being hit by a car on the B&Q DIY store car park at Meir Park on Tuesday afternoon.
She was 67-year-old grandmother Rosemary Myers who lost her fight for life at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.
In a statement her family said: “As a teacher and a trusted educational advisor, Rosemary was firecely capable, compassionate and kind.
“These qualities were shown in the love she gave as a wife, sister, mother, grandmother and dear friend.
“This is an overwhelming loss and we will miss her so much.”
A second pedestrian, who suffered minor injuries, were treated at the scene by paramedics.”
