‘Frustrated’ Diskin quits Kidsgrove Athletic

KYLE Diskin has left Kidsgrove Athletic after making 12 appearances and scoring two goals this season.
Diskin, 27, joined Kidsgrove from Newcastle Town back in January .
A club statement said: “Diskin was frustrated at being left out of the starting eleven for Saturday’s home game against Frickley Athletic as the Grove lost 3-1.
“The club would like to thank Diskin for all of his efforts in a Grove shirt as he has given the club some memorable moments including a last-minute winner against Leek Town in January this year.
“Everyone at Kidsgrove Athletic would like to pass on their best wishes to Kyle for the future.”
Diskin scored the later winner that inflicted the first defeat in nine games on Leek Town at the Novus Stadium back in January this year.
