Rugby Union: Leek ready for top of the table clash with Wolverhampton

RUGBY Union fans have a treat awaiting them at Esterchem Park, Cheddleton, tomorrow (Nov 16) when Leek play host to Wolverhampton in a top-of-the-table clash in Midland Two West (North), kick off 2.15pm.
Leek maintained top spot with 33-17 victory away to Crewe & Nantwich, but the game was by an injury to Andy McFadden early on, when he suffered a broken fibula in his first contact.
McFadden is expected to be out of action for Leek for at least six weeks, which includes missing the Intermediate Cup fixture at home to Matlock on Saturday, November 30.
Wolverhampton beat Stafford 22-16 last weekend to move up into second spot three points below leaders Leek in the table.
The fixture against Wolverhampton starts a series of five home games in a row for Leek including the Intermediate Cup.
