Adrian rides a winner for Team Candlish

Jockey Adrian Heskey rode Zolfo to victory.

JOCKEY Adrian Heskin has enjoyed a winning first ride for Staffordshire Moorlands trainer Jennie Candlish at Bangor on Dee Races today (Nov 30).
He partnered Zolfo to victory in the 2m1f corbettsports.com handicap chase in the absence of regular jockey Sea Quinlan.
Quinlan was engaged at the Newcastle meeting by trainer Nicky Richards, where he rode Scottish National winner Takingrisks to victory in the £39,865 Betfair Rehearal Handicap Chase.
Zolfo was partnered by Quinlan on the horses’s previous winning visit to Bangor last month.
The seven-year-old justified starting 11/4 favourite on his return to the Welsh Border course, with a comfortable three-length success over Royal Act, whose joint owners are Steve Mace, from Ipstones, and Mark Hammond from Oakamoor.
