Blues inflict hammer blow on unbeaten Nailers to move up to second in the table

LEEK Town ended Belper Town’s 15-game unbeaten league run with a goal in each half.
Defender Joshua Agboza (pictured) fired Blues ahead from close range in the 29th minute and Lewis Short added the vistors second goal three minutes into the second half.
The Nailers hadn’t lost a league game since March 19 at the end of last season.
The victory moved Leek up to second in the table behind new leaders Stamford who won 3-1 at home to Newcastle Town.
Carlton Town surrendered top spot as a result of their game at home to Loughborough Dynamo being postponed and second placed Cleethorpes lost 4-1away to Worksop Town.
