Stoke City U23s chop down Forest in Premier 2 Cup

MO Sankoh netted his first goals for Stoke City U23s tonight (Dec 2) as the young Potters beat Notts Forest U23s 4-0 in the Premier 2 Cup at Leek Town FC tonight.
The lively winger struck in the fourth and 42nd minutes to put Stoke 3-0 up at half-time, after in between Jake Dunwoody had given the hosts a 2-0 lead in the 13th minute.
Northern Ireland U21 international Dunwoody was a constant thorn in Forest’s side and went close on a number of occasions to adding to his tally.
Former Germany U18 international Gabriel Keyermateng added Stoke’s fourth goal in the 71st minute.
Forest staged a late determined rally but goalkeeper Adam Davies, who Stoke signed from Barnsley during the summer, pulled off three excellent saves to deny them.
