Uttoxeter Town host Port Vale XI in cup

Jack Derbyshire (yellow/blue) in action for Uttoxeter .

PORT Vale are expected to send a strong side to Uttoxeter Town tomorrow (Dec 3) night for their Staffs FA Senior Cup second round fixture.
However, it won’t be the Valiants first team, as they will be facing Mansfield Town at home in the Checkatrade Trophy.
But that doesn’t mean that one or two of the League Two club’s senior players won’t be included in what is likely to be a predominantly youthful Vale line-up.
Uttoxeter will be eager to set foot on the pitch again after suffering three consecutive postponements because of the weather.
Their last competive game was at home to Stapenhill in the Midland League on Tuesday, November 19, which they won 5-2 in front of 60 spectators.
A bigger crowd is expected at Oldfields tomorrow night (kick of 7.45pm), with a quarter-final trip to Rushall Olympic the prize at stake.
Admission prices are adults £5, concessions £3 and under 16’s free.

Staffs FA Senior Cup quarter-final draw:
Newcastle Town or Sporting Khalsa v Walsall Wood; Kidsgrove Athletic or Tamworth or Hednesford Town v Stoke City; Rushall Olympic v Uttoxeter Town or Port Vale; Stone Old Alleynians or Stafford Rangers v Brocton.
Ties to be played week commencing February 3.
