CSOB out for revenge after Vase defeat

LEEK CSOB will be out for revenge when they travel to face Foley Meir in the Leek Cup tomorrow (Dec 14).
The Potteries outfit knocked the Old Boys out of the Staffs FA Vase at Pointon Park last month with a 4-1 hiding.
CSOB will be seeking a repeat of performance of their last visit to Meir, in the Staffs County Senior League Premier Division in September, which saw them win 3-2.
They will need to be at their best to beat a side scoring goals for fun and ensure they keep a firm grip on Foley Meir’s leading marksman Mark Grice.
Grice helped himself to yet another hat-trick in a 8-1 demolition job on Warstone Wanderers in the Staffs FA Vase quarter-finals last Saturday.
CSOB’s local rivals Ball Haye Green had a double celebration last weekend, with wins for both the first team and reserves.
The first team won 1-0 away to Market Drayton Tigers in SCSL Divsion One, with a 59th minute strike from Alex Cimino, while a solitary goal from Kian Emery was enough to secure victory for the reserves at Hilton Harriers in Division Two.
