Baker Boys are hungry for more success

Leek Town boss Neil Baker.

NEIL Baker is expected to name an unchanged Leek Town line-up for tomorrow’s visit from Worksop Town in the BetVictor NPL.
The South East Division leaders will be hungry to stretch their winning league run to 10 games as table-toppers.
The Baker Boys were comfortable 4-0 winners at Worksop at the end of September, so fans have high hopes of seeing their in-form team complete the ‘double.’
Blues boss Baker, however, remains ever cautious and refuses to carried away by his side’s rich vein of form.
He warned: “Like most teams in the division Worksop will want to beat us.
“As I have said before, we are up there to be shot at and the longer our unbeaten run goes on, the more teams will want to be the first to beat us.”
Worksop come to Harrison Park occupying 13th spot in the table, but they have won two league games this month, against Wishbech (1-0) and Market Drayton Town (3-1).
Blues excellent run of league wins in December has earned them the NPL team of the month award and the added bonus of the fair play award too.
