Blues Babes go goal crazy (14) to step up the pressure on league leaders Redditch

LEEK Town Ladies gave their Premier Division championship hopes a massive boost today (March 15), when registered a resounding 14-0 victory away to Worcester City in the West Midlands Women’s Regional League.
With goal difference a possible factor in the destiny of the title, the Blues Babes gained a +3 advantage over leaders Redditch United with this latest big win.
It took Leek’s goals tally from their last two games to an incredible 30, following their 16-0 demolition job on Knowle the previous week.
Redditch, six points clear of second-placed Leek, are at home to Knowle next weekend, when they can regain their better goals difference, but Leek have two games in hand.
The two teams meet at Redditch on March 29 in what looks like being the title decider.
